I watched maybe 10 minutes total. Liked what I saw from Ward in the limited time I had the game on.

Having said that, I checked the stat line and MSU turned it over like crazy and struggled at the line. Simply cannot win big games doing that. How does such a good coach in Izzo always have teams that turn it over like it's their job?

I skimmed this thread and predictably MSU fans blamimg refs instead of our crap play. Sigh.

dude. these were not bad passes. these turnovers were by the whistle. hell, refs actually stopped 3 or 4 blue devil fastbreaks too.

I'd say if the free throws were more balanced we'd have had a shot, but face it, even if we had shot 20 more free throws we'd probably only make about 7 of them.

The other reason why we are sometimes on the short end of the total free throws is we mis so many front ends of one and one's. Hit those and our totals would be higher.
