It’s not just that Ryan has cut his interceptions down this season, from his career rate of 2.4 percent to 1.3 percent. It’s not just that the offensive line is playing much better, receiver depth is dramatically improved or that the coaches are getting optimal results from the available talent. It’s all of these factors coming together to challenge NFL defenses on every front — and make the Falcons look as ready as anybody to make a Super Bowl run.

That's how bad it went. It was over almost before it began. At least tGreenWayization was a legitimate virtual social experiment.

Alex Mack was the key. Signing a Pro Bowl Center transformed the OL.
The Sanu signing was questioned by many, but he ended up with a career high 59 catches.
Matt Ryan threw TD passes to 13 different players, so they spread the ball around.
Freeman had an even better season than last year, and Coleman racked up nearly 1000 yards rushing/receiving as a change of pace.

And the D got a little better, especially Vic Beasley (now playing like a #8 pick with 15.5 sacks).

I don't think they're that bad.

If Mack can't go or re-injures his leg and can't finish the game, that's going to present a problem for the Falcons.

Not sure about excited. It will be more interesting (to me) than a Panthers/Broncos game.
