Its not illegal to be registered in multiple states.

TBF, I'm sure there's probably some substance to it. It would be naive to think that there's no voter fraud, but I doubt it's significant or any more than any other election. In the instance that I know of, the guy had bought a fake birth certificate and had been living as a US Citizen. I doubt he's the only one to have come up with that idea.

But yeah, trying to put any focus on that is probably just a way to counter the whining about Hillary winning the popular vote.

But New York (like a dozen other states) has no early voting at all. If you’re counting at home, 10 days of early voting is a voting-rights violation, but zero days of early voting is just fine with the federal courts.

Is there empirical evidence showing 100% of those registered vote?

About 8600 people in the US die every day which works out to be 3.15M and when there is a death of people 18 or older there is no mechanism that sends the county clerk notification of the death.

About 11-12% of the population moves (down form 15%) but that's still 30 million Americans. Many of those including some who work in the current administration. Most of the folks who made be will register to vote using their new address but very few fill out paperwork and notify their previous locale they have moved.

But the numbers I just quoted will not deter the folks desperate to keep Trump and GOP pols looking to depress the number of voters who are likely to vote for Democrats.
