Have google glasses gone the way of the dodo bird?
What happened to them? Was there such negative feedback (not about the glasses, but about the users) that the company has pulled back and is redirecting their focus on other products? I never see anyone using them anymore, and I never hear any talk about them, either.

Probably. There are a lot of things in technology these days that just seem forced. Google glass, Apple watch, and a ton of internet connected crap like toothbrushes and vibrators.

Nailed it. The apple watch is a prime example of forced technology. That's an excellent description, Floyd.

I don't understand smart appliances. What's the point of controlling my washer if I still have to put things in and out?Floyd Robertson wrote:Probably. Yep. Let me know when the dryer's smart enough not to turn t-shirts inside-out and fold my underwear & socks.

Google glasses seemed to be a good idea at the time for a group of people who spent a lot of time together in meetings convinced themselves it was a real product.

I'd planned to buy a pair on eBay as a collector's item. Your little nugget of information has me rethinking that purchase.

How's that? Did they have the available optional shoe mirrors with zoom?

Have you seen the new King Cobra F7 drivers? The grips come with a sensor built into them that, when connected to the appropriate app, lets you see your shots and analyze them.
THAT is kinda cool.
