2017 football season tickets
Over 20 years a season ticket holder, and I'm on the fence about paying for this:
- coming off 3-9
4/1/17 - Green & White game (at this point it might just be a closed practice) - yeah I know I don't have to pay anything for this one!
9/2/17 - Bowling Green
9/9/17 - Western Michigan
9/23/17 - Notre Dame
9/30/17 - Iowa
10/21/17 - Indiana (homecoming)
11/4/17 - PedoState
11/18/17 - Maryland
Payment is due by May 1, 2017.
Talk me into it, or out of it; or just tell me what you are doing.

Some good games in there.
Last year's record should mean nothing to a true Spartan.

On the fence as well. Honestly last year I got a shit done on Saturdays and went on some weekend trips that were well worth it especially being away from my phone.
On the other hand i always gave my extra tickets to co workers, friends, or family who just wanted to go enjoy the experience. So that should be a reason to keep them.

In the same boat. Has nothing to do with the team's record last year, it's just a big investment for something I haven't gotten a whole lot of enjoyment from the past couple years. If I renew, it will just be to keep my seats, which I love. I didn't really have fun at any of the games last year and don't really like the idea of giving up 7 Saturdays - I used to at least enjoy the social aspect of games, but now most of the people I liked to hang out with don't bother going.

So, wait, captain slow, you didn't like the championship season two years ago? Winning it all against PSU the last game, the night game against Oregon?
O.K., if you didn't have fun that year, I definitely think you need to give up your season tickets. Nothing can top it. So, thanks for being in the stadium and being a spartan, but yeah, I'd give them up if I were you.

I had fun the playoff year watching the games, but not quite as much as years past. The Rose Bowl season was our first season as season ticket holders and I looked forward to games every week. Same the first Cotton Bowl year. 2015, I had fun watching good football, but the social aspect of the games was a bit lacking. This past season I just felt burnt out - I blame the lack of any type of hype before the season. Going and watching the team lose didn't bother me - I just felt like I was giving up my entire Saturday for games. I guess the fact that most of my friends don't go to games much anymore didn't help. I'll probably renew one more year to keep the seats and see how it goes, but it won't be hard to sway me to walk away.

Bob, I get two real good seats in front of the spirit squad every game. I was wondering if you would like to paint your face green next year, and maybe I could paint mine white and we could take our shirts off in a november game and maybe try to get on T.V.

if I close my eyes really hard and listen real close, I can hear TV's shutting off all over the country at the thought of that image.

That schedule looks like a waste of money. I think you would pay less than face on the black market even if the team went undefeated
