After breaking his leg in a game in December and missing most of his junior year...
Welcome, but I'm not going to lie. Reading that tidbit made me a lot less excited.

Sorry but I'd rather have high motor guys who play defense than primadonnas any day of the week. UConn schooled MSU with defense. They really only had one clutch shooter for that game.

What sucks is even Izzo's own son realizes we aren't Duke. Deep down you know that must have hurt his old man for his son to pick Duke over us in his bracket. And then have his son be right.Blanch32 wrote:

Well, provided he can get the full 30 seconds he seems to require to set up his jumper he should be fine.

To me, this means he'll spend his entire Sr year trying gain trust in his healed leg. His freshman year at State will be spent learning how to play real basketball and get in shape.
Cautiously optimistic.

I don't think that's the case at all. Since getting back on the court, he's been tearing it up. 2 recruiting analysts had mentioned him as a guy who is way underrated (at about #150 in the nation). He couldn't be playing timid if he's getting that kind of unsolicited praise.

Sadly this is where I am, too. This feels like it's gonna be 3 years of hearing about how this kid shot 100 threes in practice at a 90% clip while he averages 2.7 PPG over that stretch.

True. Until I see otherwise, though, I'm inclined to view him as the latest recipient of the Tom Izzo Backcourt Diversity Scholarship.

lol, I just scrolled all the way to the top. Seeing Rexrode's name makes this thread seem ancient.
