For as much as the 70s might have been bad, they make the 90s look like the renaissance period. IOW, the 90s were turrible.

To be honest, Alice In Chains is one of the only grunge bands I ever liked.  Soundgarden was good too.  Fuck Pearl Jam, STP and Nirvana.

Of all the great AIC songs, this one has struck me the most over the years

I saw Layne Staley live at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle singing with the band that would eventually be Mad Season. I knew Alice In Chains then and I knew who he was, but I didn't realize the other guys were from Pearl Jam and the Screaming Trees.

Decent list, but heavy on rock with the predictable grunge songs at the top.

Shitty list for many reasons. Common People not one of the best 50 songs of the decade? Also, that list would have you believe that Oasis's best song is Wonderwall. And also that Oasis only had one of the 50 best songs of the 90s. I'm definitely biased, but still...

I don't know if you can think less of me....but I only remember or had heard 17 of the songs on that list. I just went back and counted.
The 90's was a decade of marriage, kids, long hours and general mayhem for me - I remember very little of it.

This is 100% incorrect. The 90's and 70's were the best decades for music.

You probably aren't missing much. And you posted Champagne Supernova earlier in this thread, so I could certainly think less of you. That's a great tune.
