Federer was making too many errors he's rarely made in major quarters all the way to finals. Double faults to end games and missing 2-3 opportunities on the 3rd set tie break.

It's too bad those Vanderweghe's never got a break in the gene pool. Coco's mom Tauna was an All American swimmer at UCLA and '76 Olympian. Uncle Kiki and Grandpa Ernie both had NBA careers
