It will be a sad day if there is no more Toys R Us.

Remember that bit in Demolition Man where all the restaurants are Taco Bell? The future of shopping is that all stores are Amazon.

In 20 years we'll never have to look at each other again.
No actual human interaction at all
I'm not blaming this on millennials either. Like all of us, they just want things done easier, even though many can see this is going to lead to a fucked up society.

The only thing I won't buy online (yet) are large appliances, furniture and some clothing. Between the photos, dimensions, reviews, you really can't beat it.

Amazon inked a deal with Sears to sell Kenmore appliances online. So when Sears goes under in a year or two, they can just sell Kenmore to Amazon to give their shareholders some cash while everyone else suffers.

Grocery stores are next. Between Door-to-door organics and Kroger Clicklist I rarely go in a store to grocery shop. I tried instacart a couple of months ago and it was a disaster and pain in the butt. If anyone is interested I'll be glad to share why, but Clicklist is awesome, and door-to-door organics is amazing.
