If I had to guess why he did that.... new kick holder leaves the slightest possibility open for a messed up kick getting returned for a touchdown giving them a shred of hope at an onside kick. Not doing that would mean a Hail Mary followed by an onside and another Hail Mary.

Just got back from watching it at the bars with some buddies. I actually had a really good time. I'm pleasantly surprised with the Leos so far. The defense looks fucking great

Watched the second half. I've watched too many Lions games to get on any type of believe train but this Lions team is different. They do all these little things right that I never saw them do before. Shit like when a Giant is on top of Stafford abusing him while he's on the ground you see another Lion come along and get in that guys grill and it looked like that guy got the message through to the Giant. Wtf? I never saw the Lions do shit like that in the past. That to me is the important little details that builds a culture of winning. Some teams have it other don't and this Lions team might have it now.

I wouldn't be surprised if this team loses the next 8 games, I've watched too many Lions games to get bamboozled by them now but what they did last night I can't recall another road win like that.

I'd temper that a bit. The Giants offense is horrendous. They made Dallas' D look like a world beater in week 1. Then the Broncos took a whooping stick to that D this week.
