He is playing.
They gave up 39 in the first quarter.

Curry just got ejected, Draymond should have been last night. They run their mouths way to much.

GSW is slowly becoming the villains of the NBA, just like the Heat were with LeBron. People are going to cheer for the Thunder and Rockets so hard in the West playoffs.

Day Day just got into a wrestling match off of a Free Throw. Got smacked in the face and it escalated.

They ejected Day Day. Does not seem justified honestly. He's pissed and barking.

Ah, they gave him a 2nd tech. Did not realize he already had one. Still not sure why he got a tech. Beal smacked him in the face and then they kinda locked up and went to the ground together and a bunch of dudes piled on top of them.
Looks like they tossed Beal, as well.

Yep. So why is this a tech on Draymon?

What a comeback by the dubs. Down 18 in the 3rd, no Draymond. Up 4 with 3 minutes left.

Wbh the dubs are on nba tv vs the clippers. They are playing for 2nd place in the nba, behind the stones.

That’s when you take someone first half, wbh. Are you a degenerate or not? These two teams sure do like to whine.

I'm more concerned with carving pumpkins and my teaser on MNF. Already lost my NBA pawlay for the night. Don't get the league yet, it's not making any sense at all. I'll let it shake out for a few more weeks.
The good news is MACtion starts this week!

Re: 2017/18 NBA Season Thread
Ok now that the WS is over it's time to turn some attention to NBA. I've been watching a bit, but mostly on side TVs and really going off of preseason hype, which has not proven very successful. Who is for real, and who are the pretenders?
Who has started slow but will eventually get their shit together?
Here are the Top 8 right now in each Conference:
EAST
Boston - Have looked pretty good when I have seen them. Have won @ Philly, @ Mil, @ Miami, and beaten the Spurs
Orlando - Have some decent wins, but have to think this team will fade
Indiana - Have heard Oladipo has been great for them. Good win vs. CLE last night even though Cavs are struggling
Detroit - There's a thread about this
Charlotte, Toronto, Washington round out the playoff picture
Just outside - Mil, Philly - If Embiid stays healthy I would project both foo these teams to be in the playoff mix
Cleveland - Sitting 3-5 and but surely will find their way back into mix
Would expect pool of 8 to come from Cle, Bos, Wash, Tor, Mil, Philly, Detroit, Indiana
Maybe Miami, Orlando or Charlotte take one or 2 of those spots
Awful - Chicago, Atlanta, NY, Brooklyn
West:
LAC
Houston
Minnesota
Memphis
Utah
GSW
SAS
OKC
Tough sledding out west as usual. Portland on the outside looking in - that could change. Then you have Denver who might step up this year. New Orleans is a threat with their big two.
Probably still too young but playing ok thus far - LAL, and Phoenix, who is surprisingly 4-4 after being the worst team in the league last year
Sucks - Kings, Dallas
Any observations?

Forbes got that wet wet.
Once I’m finished with my rewatching of breaking bad, I’ll be back watching random games. Also, when I make a new gambling account. I’m with you.

In the late game I like the over fwiw. I would lean towards taking Portland at the -6.5 I saw it earlier but I haven't watched them yet this year. LAL very erratic.
Excited to watch Kuz and Lonzo though.

Where is Costello? He's been on the active roster and played in 3 of the last 5 games according to ESPN. Yet he was tweeting at the beginning of this one.

Suns are playing decent right now. Booker will be fun to watch. No matter how shitty a nba team is, so much talent to see. Where are you sitting?

My son got a free ticket through Book it or some program like that. His is free and I can accompany him in the 200 level for something like $36. Or we can upgrade and get shitty 100 level seating for a total of I think $72 or get good 100 level seating for I think $96. Not difficult to guess what I'm gonna do.
