Serious question: Is water softener salt edible?
Only reason I ask is because I know a guy that got hammered last night and wanted to brine a couple of chickens so that I could he could smoke them on his smoker tonight when I get he gets home from work. Anyway, he was evidently out of regular table salt and canning salt and his only source of salt at 1AM last night was water softener salt so that is what he used.
Thoughts? I will let him know what the consensus is...

Seriously....the stuff is 100% poison. That is why you are putting it in your drinking water.

I think stuff like is actually cool on tSwill. We're still a fledling board and almost any thread (ie, not started by SD234234) is a good thread and has some entertainment value.
Plus, it get's us on the Google like Watch Out Pylon found
