I love this kid for being a stand up Dad and a good man. I know I couldn't have handled all of that
AND play B1GTen basketball at 18.

Now if Izzo would stop beating the living hell out of him we'll get to appreciate him for a couple more years.

Within a year or so he'll be built like Al but I think he's more skilled.

When he first got here, he didn’t know the coverages. He didn’t have a clue. (He’s been good) since Christmas, because he’s so smart. He’s one of the smartest players that we’ve had. I know Draymond had a high basketball IQ. This kid’s is high, it’s high. It’s just like Draymond’s.”

That’s high praise, obviously. Keep in mind, Green averaged 3.3 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.4 minutes as a freshman at MSU. Tillman is at 2.7 and 2.3 in eight minutes per game.

Garland wasn’t done.

“He handles the ball well, passes it well. He sees things on both sides of the ball, and he’s willing to do the dirty work.”

agree - seems like a good kid and a hard worker who deserves the best in life.

Saw him play his senior year at GRC vs. Kalamazoo Central and Isaiah Livers. Was fun to watch them going at it and the Fieldhouse was packed.
