Some time tomorrow or Monday I've got a doozy to type up for you. But 1st a quiz.

What is the biggest political scandal in U.S. History and why?

Examp!e answer: Watergate. Because a sitting President's re-election committee broke into a DNC office trying to steal information then tried to use the power of the Presidency to cover it up.

All scandals are eligible from 1789-2017.

Watergate would have been my reflexive answer, if I'm being honest. Lewinsky would probably have been second, but that's largely because nothing else readily springs to my mind. Perhaps that's an indictment on our public education system, I feel like I'm missing some obvious ones.

Whether it really is/was the biggest political scandal in our history most people would gravitate to Watergate as their answer.

I outlined what it was in post #1 above. Does anyone argue that my description is accurate in a nutshell? Anyone that would like to expand on that description?

The racist, bigoted sexual predator is good for ratings. Imagine how boring their shows would be if all they had to discuss was Hillary's email account.

With the racist, bigoted sexual predator, they get his America-hating rants, his race-baiting, his misogyny, his addiction to porn stars/underage girls.. the white supremacist rallies, the mass shootings, the terror attacks on American soil, etc - and the deplorables eat it up.

I don't know, but I suspect mainstream media ratings are pretty high. They knew what they were doing when they shamelessly promoted him. It's all about the corporate dollars.

I think the biggest scandal was Nixon, but not for Watergate. We now know that Nixon contacted North Vietnam to hold out on peace talks until AFTER he was elected so he could cut them a better deal. This was far, far worse than watergate.

Anything Devin Nunes is involved in deserves nothing but derision.

Ironically, if their intent in releasing the thing is to throw shade at the Russia investigation, it's probably going to do nothing but increase support for it, since russian bots are keeping it trending on twitter.
