Honestly though, I wonder if this guy had so much why even some prominent dems were saying they couldn't understand it.   This is one of those deals where the administrations before Trump were just as bad keeping this guy on as WH Doctor if he was doing all this shit.  I realte this to the MSU volleyball recruits that we got all that bad pub about but other schools were using the guy too.  I mean, hey, we're guilty of a ton of bad shit, but come on, it's just kind of piling on in some aspects.  

There may have been no flags that Obama would have noticed and he didn't decide the nominate the doctor to head up an agency with a $2B annual budget.

It was said flattery was this guy's forte.  

My last year in the USN my CO was a USN Capt. (O-6) who had been LBJ's Presidential dentist.  They were both from Texas and as a senior US Senator LBJ got him transferred to the DC area when he was an O-5.  Kennedy gets killed, LBJ becomes President and my CO becomes POTUS dentist and LBJ makes him an O-5, jumping the line of other O-5's on the advancement list.

Said all that because Adm. Ronny Jackson got to where he was on his ability to schmooze and who he knew more than being a good personal physician.  He sure as hell wasn't trained to run a huge department like the VA.

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) unveiled a stunning laundry list of complaints allegedly made by unnamed whistleblowers — claims that Jackson was routinely drunk on duty (to the point of being “unresponsive”), created a “toxic work environment” and handed out prescription opioids like “the candy man.”

And yet no one seemed to notice any of this as Jackson was treating three presidents and their families over a 12-year period.

Indeed, Jackson routinely got glowing performance reviews from Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who repeatedly recommended his promotion.

Yes, a 2012 Navy medical inspector general report cited “unprofessional behavior” by Jackson and a rival then engaged in a power struggle, which it compared to “parents going through a bitter divorce.”

But nothing in that report — which was far more critical of his rival — or in any of the four FBI background checks he’s undergone raised even a hint of the appalling conduct that Tester alleged.

Sadly, the decorated combat vet, inexperienced in DC’s often-treacherous ways, never got the chance to answer his accusers — or even to learn their names.

And because this most vicious character assassination succeeded in taking down Jackson, future nominees will face the same, or even worse.

What's most telling about this fiasco was there were few, if any, repubs standing up for this guy. Should have been vetted prior to putting his name up. Don't blame the dems for not doing your job.

Because Trump said so?  Has Senator Testor revealed his sources?  
We know The White House released limited documents requested, not all.

Its also reported Dr Jackson wrote out prescriptions for patients he hadn't seen as patients.

According to another Senator, they had multiple career military people willing to testify about Adm Jackson's character had he decided to continue the confirmation process.

If he was doing such a bang up job why isn't Jackson returning to his White House job?  Doesn't President Trump trust the same doctor he was praising a week ago?

You had no compunction about calling a high school kid "little Hitler" yet are offended by what Senator Tester said.

Yet no connie outrage about one of Trump's Mar-a-laga friends having his ear about a $16B VA project for digital records.

However, the involvement of Moskowitz and Perlmutter, which has not previously been reported, infuriated clinicians involved in the VA project, including former Secretary David Shulkin, according to one of the sources, a former senior VA official. Several officials said they thought contract negotiations had been wrapped up earlier this year and had no idea why the project was being held up.

“Shulkin would say, “Who the hell is this person who practices medicine in Florida and has never run a health care system?” said the source. He said Moskowitz’s involvement was one of the irritants in Shulkin’s dealings with other White House-appointed officials, which contributed to his being fired March 28."
