He will never recover the $15 million he lost this year. The Steelers were going to give him basically $45 million over 3 years with a couple of bullshit years tacked on the end that he wouldn't see.

So now he hits the open market which has been set by Gurley (4 years/$60 million with $45 guaranteed).

It's going to be tough for a 27 year old RB who has only played 2 full seasons out of now 6 and is one failed drug test away from sitting out another season to match that.

Yes he didnt get banged up this year by it's also a prime earning year that he will never see again.
