Well.. I'm a big believer in second chances (though much less inclined when it comes to violence/sexual violence) - I certainly wish him well. I hope Texas Southern has the resources and personal interest in him that will support him as he grows and matures.

It was a consensual foursome. There was no violence. I can’t rememebr the legal term, but in the end, Corley and Vance pled to a relatively obscure law originally from the late 19th or early 20th century that said you can’t have sex with an unmarried woman. It’s a misdemeanor, and is not considered a sex crime in the way our current degrees of CSC are weighed. It also means they do not have to report as actual sex offenders do.

Edit to add: Josh King pled to the same thing. But he also pled to a misdemeanor using his phone to record the sex.

This might be the case, that when all said and done, none of them were charged with anything serious and they aren't considered sexual offenders. It was consensual but bad judgement and some early morning regret.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was one after another, not all at the same time. Not that it would matter to most people, I would guess. It’s not like this is a new thing; when I was in school, a bunch of guys I knew took a road trip to U of Kentucky for a long weekend and three of the guys ran a train on some student. They came back and told the story: I couldn’t relate, nor did I have any desire to try. Not my thing.
