Mobile?

Is it just me or is mobile down?

Think i got booted to browser mode too. Not sure how some of you can use this shit on the phone consistently. Mobile 4 life.

Mobile gone for me, too. Plus, there’s no quote button available.

Also, shrink your avatar, OTPT, it’s covering up your writing.
Seriously, I can’t believe Pantry uses browser mode on mobile. This is brutal.

Mobile works for me, except that photos don't load. Tweets and YouTube videos imbedded here load fine, but no photos or gifs. Been going on for a few days. I thought someone else mentioned having that issue a couple of days ago, too.

Can someone point me to an example of the issues you're having on mobile?

Both desktop version and mobile version seem to be working for me.

Cleared my cached images in Chrome (Android). Still no pictures for me.

My photos, or lack thereof, look the same as WBH's. Just nothing. Still doesn't work for me, unless I switch to desktop version on mobile (which shows the picture, but sucks overall). I've tried it on 3 different mobile browsers (Chrome, Samsung Internet browser, and Opera Mini). Running Android Pie on Samsung Galaxy S8, if that helps.

Just checking in to make sure everyone who had to use desktop mode for a while is out from underneath their bed......

Yeah, desktop is much better on mobile. You can see and get anywhere on the front page quickly instead of scrolling.

To fix the avatar issue using the desktop version, close the Twitter feed on the right. Once you close it, it doesn't come back.

Thanks for the tip on closing Twitter, Nordy, but otherwise, you guys who like desktop on mobile are certifiably nuts.

Question for our forum caretakers: Why is the thumbsup smilie blue and not green?

Some people like their options limited and their phone to tell them what they can and can't do. Others like to be able to make decisions for themselves like a big boy. To each is their own.

On the other hand, I find the mobile/desktop question varies depending on which site you're on. Have been going back to TOB occasionally since Strangelove. tRCMB is better set to mobile on mobile.
