With the way both teams play defense, and with the way UVA can play deep into the shot clock, it might be a brutal game to watch.

53-51 UVA. I don't think UVA will turn the ball over as much, and I think they will knock down enough perimeter shots to stay in the game. I suppose if Mooney goes off again, that changes my thinking. For a moment he could hit shots if he had been shooting from Lubbock.

Hmmm. I feel where you're coming from. I know Mooney played hero ball and made some absurd shots. He probably can't do it again. But MM played hero ball in the 1st half and I'm not sure he - or anyone else - makes those shots again. I don't know. We missed some open shots, for sure. So did they. I don't see UVA and Bennett solving that D. You are correct that their opportunity to do so is by hitting at a 40%+ clip from beyond the arc. Maybe they can do it.

What a frustrating game to watch. I'm going to find something else to do Monday at 9 PM. Maybe AMC will be airing Under Siege again.
