Ok so that is funny if true but that is not the point of me starting this thread. My point is why would @Jack give him an audience? That's a rhetorical question. We all know he shouldn't. Trump is using Twitter to tear the country apart. Dorsey should have shut him down long ago. He violates policies repeatedly. Many of us here and elsewhere have talked at times about how Twitter is the devil. (yet we still use it)

It got me to thinking. Would it be possible to have a politics free version of Twitter? With political postings moderated heavily? That would be awesome. Who wants to start it? Calling dibs on CEO.

You're kidding right? Jack Dorsey owes everything to Trump. Trump has single handedly driven usership up ridiculously. Twitter was nearly in the tank in 2015. Plus, Dorsey doesn't give a shit about anything. His whole bank account is the outrage machine and fueling it is good for him.

think about it - had the mainstream media not played such a role in getting him elected and, instead, Hillary and her email account were in the Oval Office, they'd be forced to cover things like climate change, income inequality, healthcare, etc - so, rather than having wall-to-wall analysis of these very boring, very essential-to-the-American-way-of-life things, they get to cover porn stars, Russian collusion, conspiracy theories, white supremacist rallies, etc.

the mainstream media (magnified via Twitter) wanted the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator and, I suspect, their ratings prove why.

it's unfortunate that it takes a comedian in America to provide an honest assessment of current events.
