guessing it's just silly attempt for the Senate to look tough.. meanwhile, if the little miscreant complies, they'll tell him how great he is.. how they're sorry that such a fine patriot and christian is being put through this witch hunt...

and then the anti-American GOP will say "so, we talked to him.. he said he did nothing wrong".... and then be dismissive of any further attempt to protecting the Constitution..

I guess we'll see. Maybe some Republican's care about their coun....hahaha who am I kidding, they'd sell their first born in a heartbeat if it meant they'd make $1 million more.

No way they go too hard on him, he's their future leader when Trump Sr. decides to hang it up and call it a career.

Maybe, (BIG maybe) Sen. Burr, Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, has a conscience, and/or a sense of duty to America. He has been investigating the Russian interference for two years. He has already stated he will not seek re-election, so perhaps his better self has taken over? (We can hope...) He is angering his fellow republicans in the Senate.

No big deal, Trump said jr was exonerated in the Mueller report.

This is what I’m hopeful is the case. IIRC, Congressional committee chairpersons were allowed a look at the full, unredacted Mueller Report. Maybe Burr saw something that stood out as conflicting with previous Junior lies statements.

There is a less redacted report that was made available.  No fully unredacted report has been made available.

No Democrats have read the less-redacted Mueller report. But five Republicans have.
