Same here dude. I loaded up because our neighborhood is nuts every year for Halloween. I've got roughly 800 pieces of candy to hand out tonight. That would be just enough in years past. I'm thinking my lunch area here at work is going to have a shitload of leftovers.

Just line them up in the family room and throw candy at their faces.

You know what's a great way to reward trick or treaters that head out into the nasty weather for candy? Hand out those little treat sized boxes of Sun Maid raisins.

That peanut butter taffy is also a good choice.

Re: 2019 trick or treating death storm thread
do kids from the poor neighborhoods still go to the upscale neighborhoods for trick or treating?
I dressed up as KISS every year (usually Paul Stanley or Peter Criss) when I was a kid and hit up the rich neighborhoods. Pretty sure me and my fellow hooligans freaked out the country club types.

I think that's how it's done these days. I have a lot of people that complain about that. I actually wish they came up to my neighborhood. There's an entire section of our town that I'm not even sure anyone sees or considers, it's almost like they don't exist. I think it's a damn shame.

Necco Wafers, Blackjack Taffy, Bit o Honey, and pennies. It’s a GreenWay family tradition.

It's a good life lesson. That when you expect something wonderful in life you are often met with crushing disappointment.

We’re not going to visit any houses on Lake Huron with anything south of a tax assessed value of 250k
I’ll report back. Think we’re gonna drive the accord I put a dent in the other day. It’s all about the presentation.

Make sure you take 2 extra pillow cases for your other kids who are "home sick."

I usually leave our front porch light off. Had enough local politicians knocking lately.kingstonlake wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote:do kids from the poor neighborhoods still go to the upscale neighborhoods for trick or treating?

I think the lesson is getting through, too. The trees in the yard haven't been TP’d in two years. That’s a record.
