Regarding Next Year's Quarterback.

I wonder if he's on the current MSU roster? Is it possible that We'll have a staff willing to fish around at JUCO's or in the portal to grab what is needed? It will be very interesting to see playing time in the bowl game. I really hope we see people playing other than Lewerke. I think the only thing that could disappoint me is not seeing a huge portion of time given at least two other QB's. And frankly, I've seen Lombardi enough. I'd love to see the underlings. Spring games are great, but you get false positives out of them.

Who follows how many scholarships we have and if our staff is looking Juco or portal at all?

I think we have to go JUCO. Rocky looks like an 2-3 win qb to me and is Day ready?

I think Lewerke will get more reps than the other 3 combined, unless we get a big lead early.

Aside from mop up plays, or a series here or there, nothing in MD’s past suggests he’s willing to invest game time in the team’s future QBs. Very short-sighted, and has bitten us in the ass more than once, but it is what it is.

I do anticipate we regress at this position and think our offense is even worse next year. Hopefully we go the jUCO route and get a serviceable QB running our offense next year.
