I don't know enough about Illinois to really make a judgement call but whatever. These polls and college sports ranking systems always seem ridiculous.

I'd venture to guess Couch was too close to the situation. Cash did have a major distraction for a number of games this season... So yeah, he may have not been as good as he could have been. That said, should have voted for him regardless.

I know, I know, 80% of it is him trolling, and 20% is "I'm not a homer". Doesn't it seem like we have the only beat writers that often (perhaps even regularly) under-value MSU players compared to the B10 and national perception? Usually the beat writer is the only vote that someone undeserving gets. With our writers, it's the opposite.
