It's about the only bread my wife will eat, but she does love fresh baked. Kroger carries sourdough but they only get in a few loaves every week and it's buried pretty good in the bread aisle.

Been eating sourdough on and off since I was a kid and my mom would bring some back after trips to SF. My wife and blood relatives all love it. I’ve never understood the draw. Like everything else, it’s all about personal taste.

Cleaned the fridge too to bottom. Took the plastic door that holds the water coil off. Found a 8 ounce 7up can, a ten ounce figi water bottle a philly cream cheese pack and a brown oozy jelly like substance. That was a good half hour clean and replace. No idea the age of the stuff. Figure the 7up was good.

Got a starter from my cousin, been feeding it regularly, which is good because as its been mentioned and I've been told yeast and all purpose flour are all emptied off the shelves. Luckily my mom has a 10lb bag that I put to use with the bread bowls, pretty satisfactory effort by myself super chiefs.
