Dude played extremely well today while maintaining an unemotional demeanor. He was cool and collected. A major component of success is controlling your level of arousal. He was masterful today.

Someone needs to edit together a reel of his great plays to that song. I have feeling there’s going to be lot of them before too long.

He had the best deep arm of any QB I can remember. Back in my day when a Spartan QB would throw a deep ball it was sort of like finding a nice remote country road so you could get your car well above the posted speed limit. It was exhilarating but you knew it was something you shouldn't do all the time.

After a deep pass you'd see like 15 runs up the middle right after that play.

You should’ve seen Eddie Smith play. Dude was a great QB and throwing to Kirk Gibson must have been a blast.

The year we won the big ten but couldn’t go to a bowl, Gibson claims we beat Michigan on the first play of the game. Gibson just streaked by their DB’s. They couldn’t come close to his speed. Eddy Smith over threw him. But he says after that the DB’s were so cautious of the deep ball he and Beamer could catch things underneath quite a bit.

Don’t know if that’s a true story, but I’ve always liked it.

Play was reviewed also. Ball moved, but replay couldn't clearly show if the ball hit the ground (or if the receiver's hand was underneath it).

Well, it was late in the 3rd and Wyoming was up 42-17 when I posted this. NIU stormed back and took a 43-42 lead, but Wyoming just scored and got the 2pt conversion. NIU at mid field with 70 seconds to go.
