I have no idea who this person is. As long as Lebatard is on the air, I'm happy.

Wilbur "Bill" King (October 6, 1927 – October 18, 2005) was one of the most prominent sports announcers in San Francisco Bay Area history, widely recognized by his distinctive handlebar mustache and beard and his broadcasting catchphrase "Holy Toledo!"

Having your life cancelled is worse than having your show cancelled.

"The phones are really dead today."
"Yeah, well, so is Bill."

I can see how that could be pretty boring. His takes were never anything but dead air for the last nine years.

That would be Tim Staudt's wet dream. All of that room for even more commercials.

Had a show in the morning on Sirius XM College Sports. Seemed like a nice guy but I agree with OP was pretty boring after awhile. Constantly talking about SEC football

Fibaum is the worst. #1 rule in talk radio is that you should be able to under stand the caller. Walmart wolverines are PhDs compared to the folks in alabama

Yeah, I couldn't stand the local detroit stuff, so I tried him, he was horrible. Huge recruiting and big sec cheerleader. He would often say how great OSU will be, and PSU. It was like I was listening to the recruiting aholes from 247 sports. I got about a week in and then I had enough.
Who is replacing him?

To be fair 247 was a major sponsor and the Trevor's of each school were frequent guests.
And the qb of bama is replacing him so I fully expect the sec slurp fest that is XM to continue

So, a guy on a show you didn't listen to is being replaced by a guy you won't listen to?
Gripping.

It's only a matter of time before he's Grand Marshall in a homecoming parade.

Re: bill king canceled
I had a love-hate relationship with him. Better than most other college guys, but that's not saying much. He's perfect for a 5 minute commute, but not for anything longer.
That being said McElroy and Zarzour have impressed me this first week.
Finally, I thought he just got moved to 5-7; he got full on cancelled now?
