Anyone get in on Game Stop stock? Closed 2020 @18.87 Today at 347.51

A group of day traders and some investors used Reddit forum r/WALLSTREETBETS have catapulted Game Stop to new heights in 27 days.

There are some speculators who bet on Game Stops demise playing shorts are up the creek and some on WalStreet are craying about needing government intervention.  That's funny.

Robin Hood just removed GameStop, Nokia, and AMC from their lists. Such BS. Fuck the rich hedge guys.

Premarket stock price is hovering around $415.
The hedge funds shorted more stock than existed, tehy are fucked, from what I'm reading. Something like 140% of available stock was shorted. Redditors are out to destroy the hedge funds and if they get some $$ in the process, even better.
At least that's what I got out of reading a couple of threads over there.

It halts when it makes jumps, then will randomly come back and halt again after a bit.

Portnoy is going to town on them. WSB just getting pissed and solidifying their ground to hold. Many selling other positions so when it comes open they can buy more GME.

Hedge funds and redditors are gambling with a small portion of the stock market.

Anyone who loses money on GME at this point either already had the money to lose or doesn’t care.

Investing isn’t gambling. But i’d argue that what they’re doing right now is. It still shows how this can be manipulated.

Im sure you’re right. Changes that may come from this will only be to help the big hedge fund companies. So this may all be moot. I have no skin in this game (we were considering buying some, but nothing we cannot afford to lose), but it’s certainly entertaining to watch.

I briefly considered buying AMC yesterday. Glad I didn't. All the FOMOs from yesterday are getting Ponzied today. Love that a bunch of interweb nobodies are screwing hedge funds though.

The lofty share-price peak did help AMC reduce its debt burden, however: It said early Thursday that investment funds led by Silver Lake Group converted $600 million of convertible debt into shares at $13.51 per share.

That's 44 million more shares diluting 287 million outstanding.

Hell yesterdays drop was from firms having to sell real positions to cover the losses they were about to take on shorting $GME/$BB/$BBY/$NOK/$AMC/$EXPR ext. 

$GME just happens to be the main one that started it with some fucking crazy dude noticing the amount the stock was shorted and dropping 50k in options on it. Then everyone else joined in. The only reason people from WSB/reddit are selling any of the aforementioned stocks is so they can buy more $GME. They're still holding the other positions, just those are battles and they want to go to war on $GME
