Last Man Standing...no more
After 9 seasons, switching networks, some cast changes, the show is done after a few more episodes. Gonna miss it. Except for his apparent love of UM, Tim Allen was pretty damn funny. Nancy Travis playing his OSU soulmate was damn funny too. Great sitcom.

I tried watching that show, and couldn't get into it. The jokes were too forced.

Remember you saying that before in another thread. Likely not your cup of tea. Let me know of a sitcom where the jokes were not forced. Many LMS were shot live in front of a studio audience without a laugh track.Dendrobates wrote:I tried watching that show, and couldn't get into it. The jokes were too forced.
To me as a conservative, funny as hell! Will miss Mike Baxter's pod casts pumping Outdoor Man. Thankfully, reruns are forever!

Just looked up this show and apparently is also starred Coach Ed Gennero. One the greatest college coaches of all time. That's cool.

Hector Elizondo also played the hotel manager in Pretty Woman. He, Tim Allen, and Nancy Travis are the only characters appearing in every episode of LMS.

True, most sitcoms have forced comedy. This one seemed extra to me.
Have you watched the Ranch on Netflix? I think that’s hilarious, and so much like my brothers/dad growing up.

Re: Last Man Standing...no more
The series revolves around Mike Baxter (Allen), the marketing director of the Outdoor Man sporting goods stores and a “man’s man”. His family doesn’t see eye-to-eye with him so it can sometimes be a little tough for Mike to stand his ground and stay in touch with his inner man.
So it centers around everything you wish you were?

What is man’s man anyways? Like is it a gay thing or an overtly misogynistic thing? Either way, sounds HILARIOUS...
