So I see that Goodrich's is finally closed. I usually tailgate in South Complex, and we used to walk over there sometimes to get extra liquor/beer if necessary. One time, too, I think we got a giant sub from that Subway on the corner.
Will there be something new there by football season? Or is my only option nearby the Quality Dairy (that's still there, right?)?

They never owned the property...and couldn't afford the new rent or didn't fit in the developer's plans.

I don't care about Goodrich's. The only reason I ever went there was because it was close to campus. Is whatever going there instead going to be open by the Nebraska/scUM/Ohio State games?SawGreen wrote:They never owned the property...and couldn't afford the new rent or didn't fit in the developer's plans.

Or... ya know... be prepared. You can always save alcohol for later if you don't finish them off when intended.
What's in the Korean place?

When you are usually flying into town, Goodrich's was a great option with a wide variety that you could easily pick up stuff and walk to the tailgate Saturday morning and again later on in the day for those night games.AvgMSUJoe wrote:

I was cleaning out my lease SUV to turn it in this past March and found a 1/5 of Johnny Walker with one swig taken out of it in the back cargo hatch.AvgMSUJoe wrote:

The new grocery store is named Fresh Thyme. It won't be opened until 2015.

Christ, I'm going to have to find a new bathroom to use after I park, perhaps Wendy's will work.

Be careful you don't get stuck in some sort of time warp though.
