Last week I saw that since 1950, I believe, it was something like a 38-32 or 38-30 in favor of Michigan (if we have played every year, that would mean 38-32...now 38-33).

Prior to 1950 something like 40 of 45 games were played in Ann Arbor or something ridiculous like that.

That record looks right. Since Motown is the designated Swill Historical Statistician and Purveyor of Numbers, I’ll let him have first crack at presenting the record.

As for the consecutive number of games at u-m, pre-1950, I’d have to take a look, but what you posted wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Since 1950 (MSU joining the Big Ten) the record is:

Michigan State 32 wins
Michigan 38 wins
2 ties

Nowhere near as lopsided as current scUMmers seem to believe the rivalry is.
