Most think all of these “meaningless” bowl games suck, but I love them. I can watch a game any day from now through early January. I don’t have to care who wins, it’s pure entertainment and better than Dr. Oz or rerun movies.

What bowl games have you been to? I have been to the Motor City Bowl three different times, but that's it for me. Each time was more enjoyable than being in that stadium to watch its full time resident.

Let’s start our own bowl game here in EL. We can find a field flat enough with no holes, mark it off, and watch the magic happen. The teams we invite will be fully aware there is no money in it for them, no swag for players and coaches, no tv deal, and very few fans. We’ll call it tSwill Brrrr Bowl.

No, I went to some Canes games when they still played there, but the Orange Bowl games were already at Hard Rock by the time I moved down.

The old Orange Bowl stadium was a cool place, though. Old metal and concrete, with the pillars obstructing some views like at Tiger Stadium. I went to one "big game", against Top 10 Washington when Miami was #1 or #2, I think (2002 maybe?). The whole place literally would shake, especially in the upper deck where I was. But they'd only get that atmosphere against FSU or a Top 10 opponent. They'd never come close to selling out otherwise.

Hard Rock is a sterile, NFL stadium.

After I graduated I attended all of our bowl games from the 1988 Rose Bowl to the 2000 Citrus Bowl, so...

Rose Bowl, Gator Bowl, 2 Aloha Bowls, 2 Sun Bowls, Liberty Bowl, Independence Bowl and a Citrus Bowl.

The Liberty Bowl was the worst weather of any game I have attended, bowl or otherwise. Christmas in Hawaii was great, much better than I anticipated.

I haven't been to a bowl game since and unless we are playing for a National Championship, I doubt I will attend another.
