The guy I have season tickets with is on some kind of game thread during the games at the Breslin where I think they know somebody, he was saying the guy downstairs was texting his thread that Walker took himself out of the game it appears. And then they were texting back-and-forth it didn’t seem like a physical injury maybe he sick?? This is only speculation of the guy I sit with and his buddies that are closer to the bench. Absolute wild guessing. I think Bigham got poked in the eye but again I’m not sure. I know Izzo was pissed at him.wasn’t fighting through screens Maybe he just wanted a free-throw shooting team out there at the end.

I think Minnesota played well defensively. Thought both teams were not very good last night. Granted Walker and Bingham were out for whatever reasons. If Curry doesn't go down, might have been a different outcome.

Following his third straight turnover, Walker signaled to the bench and was subbed out. Izzo confirmed that he asked to be taken out of the game.

Turnovers. Nothing new, but shit, it is the lazy turnovers that aren't even from trying to be aggressive that bother me the most. If they come from trying to make a play, ok, I get that. There was the one span in the early-mid 2nd half (I think), where we had 3 straight turnovers, and IIRC, at least 2 of those 3 were just on attempts to hand the ball off or pass from shorter than a couple of feet away, and we were just too casual and weak with the ball, and Minny was able to jump in there.

Then the near turnover by Christie toward the end. 2 point game, under a minute left, and you bounce it off your knee? He wasn't even in traffic or trying to drive/make a move, was he?

Yeah that was crap... but to be fair... Freshman gunna fresh. He plays like a Jr and you forget he's barely 18.

Yeah, thats fair. I should have qualified that with a comment about being a freshman. I didn't mean it as a shot against him so much as in general how the casual play at times is going to cost us.
