Big Ten Coaching News: Maryland hires Seton Hall BB coach Kevin Willard

This hire makes sense. Willard is a an East Coast guy who was at Iona before Seton Hall.

I hope St Peters's has enjoyed this season's run. Won't be shocked if Seton Hall reaches out to former player and alum Shaheen Holloway and offers him.

I would have stayed a Pirate if I was him, but I don't like turtles. Sometimes it's better to be big fish in a little pond.

That's true but the job security can go a long way. I mean, $29 million for seven years, of which you might not work more than four years a MD, can be very enticing. So can $2 million a year for 20 years if you do it right at a place like Seton Hall.
