There was something Ty Walker posted on IG or Twitter yesterday. I saw a screenshot of it earlier today, but can't find it now. Not sure that makes it official, or he's trying to talk Joey into it,

Probably. Some people seemed excited. I guess we should be excited. But it seems a bit much that we're hoping for Brown, Hauser and Bigham to return. If our "hopes" are for that, I will add the hope that two of the three take the season next year very seriously, of course for my selfish reasons, which is pathetic, but also for their future. I do think Hauser some how found himself a bit in the last 1/4 of the season, and maybe could be an asset next year.

We need bigs. He qualifies. I agree with Wags. He seemed to have found a role and some confidence the last qtr of the year. A consistent JH is what I’d like to see. Not sensational, just dependable.

Yep, consistency is key. He showed some genuine talent toward the last part of the year, but not often enough to count on it from game to game. Whether it’s here or he moves on to a paycheck somewhere, I hope it works out great for him.

Definitely need more bigs especially since Marble is horrible on D. I'd give my left nut to have a clone of Antonio Smith transfer to us next year.tGreenWay wrote:kingstonlake wrote:We need bigs. There’s no way I’m ready to relegate Marble to a few minutes a game. I love his energy. Yes, he is currently a foul machine, but he has size and strength and isn’t afraid to go to the basket on offense and uses his bulk on defense. He needs more time to better understand playing defense, which will slow the game down for him and that’s when those dumb fouls will (hopefully) disappear.

Would love him back for his shooting. Don't really consider him a big. He's more of a stretch 4.

Re: Joey buckets coming back.
A stretch 4 can hit the 3. Marbles range is the free throw line. He has decent post moves, but a post defender is still needed. That is what Bingham offered.NigelUno wrote:Nordic wrote:Is Joey coming back? Yes or no.

Marble's first name is Julius. Not Joey.

I know we are all excited about the 3 “post season” wins and hanging with duke but is it really a bad (or even a good) thing if all 3 left and the program got a fresh start?

Shits out of our hands. Two of those three can stay or leave. Don’t care. I don’t begrudge them their college years. I hope whoever stays works hard and does well.
