I guess a good guy with a gun shot and killed the bad guy with the gun so thank Jesus for that. Although it wasn't until the bad guy with the gun killed multiple people. I thought guns were going to protect us? Do people have to die before guns will protect us? That seems stupid.

Early on July 10 in Houghton Lake the shooter was the husband of the 35 year old woman who’d recently filed for divorce and had recently asked a judge to issue a restraining order against her husband. (Judged had refused)The shooter also killed the 13 year old son and his mother-in-law before turning the gun on himself with a gun he’d legally obtained.

Why isn’t a restraining order request in any divorce case automatically approved? Once one party request it then the order should be granted for both sides.

She asked for the restraining order before she filed, only to be told she had to file first.
