The Hypocrisy of Republician Voters

Reading about how the IRA will.overwhelmingly benefit the rural districts which send Republicians to various levels of government it is very clear that Republican voters have perfected the art of having their cake and eating it too.

Yrar after year, Congressional Bill after Congressional Bill these districts gain a majority of the benefits created by governments while consistently voting for politicians who vote against these bills.

Somehow they ignore this.

It's easy... billionaires own the propaganda/ignorance machine. Billionaires don't like to pay taxes on the fortunes their daddy and/or granddaddy made (because it's owed to them). Things that benefit poor & rurals cost money. Govt money leads to more taxes. Billionaires rev up the propaganda/ignorance machine to contradict the benefit.


Ask 100 residents getting high speed internet access in rural areas because of the infrastructure bill about how they feel about the federal govt... 20 will talk about the local cops bagging on them, 20 will talk about teachers being rich, 20 will talk about the govt parenting their kids into being trans, 20 will go onto about whatabout Hillary, 20 might have a clue. That level of idiocy is no mistake.

I wonder if some K-12 education genius at MSU's exception educational college can discover a form of (non-political of course) critical thinking curriculum to fix this ignorance? That would be the most worthwhile endeavor at the school. I'd rather a kid have common sense then trigonometry or physics.
