Greatest NBA Centers of All Time - Who Ya Got?

I'm taking Wilt for all the obvious reasons.

I go Bill Russell because 11 titles in 13 years is insane. The first 5 poll options are really all we should need. I certainly hope nobody will try to argue that Patrick Ewing is the greatest center of all time.

I agree, and I thought of limited it to the two which have received votes, but Kareem was hard to ignore, and the others were what the search engine gave me.

I certainly think Kareem and Shaq belong in the discussion with Wilt and Russell. Olajuwon and Moses Malone I see as fringe options, and Robinson and Ewing I don't think anyone would choose.

But I'm not an NBA expert, by any means, so who knows.

Wilt leads is so many individual statistics with Bill & Kareem typically second & third in no order.  I like your point about championships, and I never saw Bill playing, but did see the other two.  

Wilt being in the game always changed what the other teams could do, and even at the end of his career he could still turn on the part of his game, be is scoring, rebounds or assists, that would help his team win.

Magic when Kareem went down in the 1980 NBA finals against the Celtics.

Whenever I saw him play it was like when Magic was on the floor. Both of them were the center of attention by all the other players. Hard to explain, maybe his 4.4 assists per game over his career does...
