ESPN: MSU-Oregon a rare on-campus game
"The best thing to happen to opening weekend over the past several years has been the neutral-site games featuring ranked teams. The season begins with a handful of bowl-quality games in bowl-like atmospheres without the messy trouble of playing an entire season."
"But Michigan State and Oregon stand out this week for being old school. Of the six teams listed above that played in neutral-site games last week, all six are playing at home, and five against FCS opponents. Step up, Alabama, which dared to schedule ... Florida Atlantic."
LINK
I, am also, sick of ****ing neutral site games. Grow some balls, programs. The playoff committee better recognize.

Oregon is the real deal. We aren't pussies like Alabama. We scheduled LSU for our first game a few years back. We've got home and homes scheduled with Ohio State and Texas A & M. Georgia backed out of a home and home with us. We'll take on any muther f-er. Kudos for Michigan State for doing the same.

I love home at homes against highly ranked teams. Until recently we haven't been good enough to make home at homes attractive to other teams. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.oregonblitzkrieg wrote:Oregon is the real deal. We aren't pussies like Alabama. We scheduled LSU for our first game a few years back. Pete Roussel @coachingsearch 12m
Wow. Nick Aliotti: Against Top 20 defenses, Oregon is 2-5. Against others, 46-3. Against Top 20 defenses, Ducks average just 24 ppg.

Kudos to you for finding us (the swill).
Is this the first non-trcmb-affiliated poster from another school?

Well I got kicked off after about 3 poasts on the Michigan State 247 boreds. Apparently they can't handle a little trash talk from opposing teams over there. This seems like one of those cool forums where you can actually post what you want without a moderator with a stick up his ass deleting posts he doesn't agree with or banning you.

You can post anything you want here as long as you don't mention TanFan's wrinkled balls.

MSU has been struck by the cancellation shit too - had Texas A&M, and Bama scheduled but the SEC fears OOC games away from Dixieland.
