Pray for Spartan Football success

Big sport athletic success at helps MSU succeed in its educational mission and its ongoing efforts to help reduce ignorance, poverty, disease and death around the world.
Michigan State does more such good than the University of Oregon (just one example 49,000 MSU students compared 23,000 Duck students).
Therefore, it is permissible to pray for the success of Michigan State in accomplishing it's very good mission using each benign and effective tool, including its football team.
