Seriously at this rate, how ugly is 10/25 looking?

Could we be looking at a 49-3/"I don't know" type of moment? Maybe 49-0 because they don't have anything close to Charles Rogers on their roster?

It's likely to be a blowout of epic proportions. 49-3, is within the realm of possibility.

We beat them in a way that makes last year look like we were going easy on them. I am hoping Dantonio goes for the kill here. This could be his chance to destroy whatever is left of that program's soul. Embarrass them and make them question themselves in a way they haven't had to before.

I have to say yesterday was probably the first UofM game I've watched in quite a while. I'll try to make a few unbiased observations here...

When Devin Gardner got into the game on the first drive I was pretty impressed. He moved the chains with ease, got the time right into the end zone and for a moment it felt like a come back was possible.

So the good for the team is that if their QB can avoid doing dumb shit they can be alright.

Outside of that, Michigan looked beyond terrible yesterday. On special teams their punter was kicking very returnable kicks, he was terrible. On D they had Minny pinned back on the 1 yard line and allowed them to drive down the field and put points on the board. Greg 'Bit Tits' Mattison is the most overrated DC in the business.

On offense, Shane Morris is a terrible QB. Also, Funchess looks pretty injured and if I were him I'd mail it in and save myself for the draft. The RBs look fat and out of shape. I'd take Hill and Langford over their RBs any day of the week.

I think MSU can probably hang over 50 points on this Michigan team. On vbookie I'll be taking the over and MSU with whatever the vegas line is.

Not sure how anyone ever thought that Shane would be a better option at QB than Gardner. It just speaks to the level of incompetence on the coaching staff at UM right now.

Same here. Our team needs to come out and punch them in the mouth. We cannot let them hang around or get confidence. It's a rivalry game and anything could happen. I hope we hang 50 on them but i won't hold my breath. Need to show up.

Agreed

Have given up a few blown/big plays already - and their offense in past years against us has just been to chuck it up and hope for a flag/luck

While I do think the score will be lopsided, I'm more interested in just beating them down. Last years game was epic in that regard. We literally broke them well before the game was over. You could just see that they didn't want to go back on the field and take more abuse. It was a thing of beauty.

That Minnesota game was so bad it seems they have already hit rock bottom. But I think I thought that after Utah. Now they go to Rutgers for a night game? That had debacle written all over it before I had any idea they would be THIS bad. If this trend continues I can't even imagine what they will be like. But they had a players only meeting so maybe they will turn it around. They can still win the big ten so all their goals are in front of them.

I will be pleased, maybe even happy, with just winning the game.  

I probably won't even say anything to my UM friends and coworkers.  I'll just wait for them to speak first as they rip their beloved program apart and with just of hint of a reassuring smile, tell them they shouldn't be so harsh.

Inside I'll be laughing my ass off, just like I have 5 out of the last 6 years.

and it's probably a good part of the reason they've gone 4 and 8 (or whatever their crappy record is) since that game.

They might be fired up, but they are also going to be injured and gun shy. Last year they weren't going to get bullied. MSU players will be up for the game as well. Coach D has the game circled and will always have the game circled.

When Tressel took over at O$U, I read somewhere, that he made the um game a priority game, every year. Coach D is going to do the same thing. I will guess that a lot of the press releases and disses that the um players said about MSU are given emphasis that week.

Coach showed these last two weeks, that they are going to play football. He isn't going to try to run up the score, but the score isn't going to stop them from running their plays.
