We can only hope....I think Ausmus and his entire coaching staff are more deserving of being fired than Brady Hoax and Pizza Boy.

Gardenhire should be managing the Tigers Sunday.

Unless Gareldenhire can pitch out of the bullpen I'm not seeing much did in hiring him.

I'd much rather have Gardenhire than Ausmus, but managers are overrated when it comes to wins and losses.

Gardenhire's Twins won exactly 1 playoff series and never sniffed the World Series, let alone win one. His roster included Johan Santana, Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer, Torri Hunter, etc. Multiple Cy Young winners, MVPs, batting champs, perennial All Stars.

In other words, a team like the Tigers have had.

If your ace gets rocked, you likely lose. If your bats go cold, you likely lose. If your outfield defense is horrible, you need to make up for it somewhere else, or likely lose.

Dombrowski put this roster together, and he hired this coaching staff. The criticism needs to start there.

Sanchez was pitching great out of the pen. Ausmus, and Clark sending Miggy home from 1st, were why the game was lost. Terrible managerial and coaching decisions.
