Probably. But more because of the memories and connotation that his presence on the screen would now carry, not because the content of a 15 year old show has magically changed. I could care less about the Parents Television Council, but it seems kind of silly to rip on them for supporting a program because of what one of the actors secretly did that no one knew about until now.

A skilled contractor (PLC programmer) had been at my place of employment for a couple years. Worked with him on a couple projects. Smart, dependable, nice guy. Wife and 2 or 3 kids. Seemed completely normal.

He didn't show up to work one day a couple weeks ago so we called the contract house. They said they would contact him.

Turned out the guy got busted for child pornography...3rd offense. Had been in prison 4 years.

Never asked how he got the big scar on his cheek. Have since learned that is what prisoners do to pedophiles to mark them

They run around lecturing people who how vile Hollywood is.. and how we should shield our children from the Hollywood filth and flock to church.. (and, oh, by the way - donate money while you're there)..

all the while, extolling the virtues of a wholesome, family-friendly show like 7th Heaven - a Hollywood production, by the way - that happens to fall in line with their sick, twisted agenda..

as it turns out, the star of the show they've been using to manipulate their mind-numbed masses turns out to be the actual filth of Hollywood - not the ones they've spent their hypocritical lives warning us about...

so, yeah - if they want to run around telling people what to watch, by all means do it - there are millions of people out there who refuse to think for themselves, ceding their own free will to people like the "Parents Television Council" - just don't be shocked when people like me point out the christian hypocrisy.

Not disagreeing that there is hypocrisy with these groups. But how is it hypocritical when no one knew what he was doing? Did the Parents Television Council ever even mention this actor in their praise of the show? And even if they did, how are they to know what he's doing?

If it comes out 10-15 years down the road that some kid on the MSU basketball team was secretly taking money from a booster, without the knowledge of Izzo, the coaching staff, or even his fellow players, am I a hypocrite for supporting Izzo and saying that I believe he runs a clean program?

Fair enough. That's why I kept asking the questions, because it seemed like you were tying the content of the show to what the guy did. I see where you're coming from now. It would be like someone blasting all of college football or basketball for being dirty while saying that their school is 100% clean.
