The charter of the site requires a certain number of posters with voting privileges to vote in order to pass issues. Too many posters with the voting privilege no longer visit the site and nothing can get done because there aren't enough voters left to meet the threshold.

Why should we remain handcuffed by people who don't participate here any more? The people in the list aren't being kicked out, they're just having their voting privilege removed so that the site can be run again by those who actively participate. It's not unreasonable and it's not some plot against them. I'm sure the people in the list couldn't care less about this vote since they don't come here anymore.
