Excitement level for game Thursday?

It's a huge game vs a top 5 team and would propel MSU into a high ranking to start next year. It would also cement us amongst the nations best football programs having beat the Pac12 and Big12 champs back to back.

I'm still disappointed they aren't coming to Miami. It would have worked out perfectly with where I'm going to spend NYE, too. I don't like the matchup, and now I'm being a debby downer and hoping we don't get blown out.

The long layoff between the regular season and bowl games always makes it tough to get fully amped up (last year excluded), but when I step off the plane tomorrow and put on my cowboy hat I'll achieve full wood.

The promos are pitting our defense vs Baylors offense which is indeed a great matchup but our offense is better than our defense this year and they should be hyping it as offense vs offense. Cook, Lippet, Langford and our OL are studs.

I'm at about a 2. Not because of the game itself, but I haven't had time to even think about it. Xmas might have been Xmas for you fuckers, but it's not over for me totally.
Driving to PA this morning to FINALLY finish off the holiday season to visit my kid who just bought his first house out there. Will spend tomorrow in Philly, and only then I can start thinking about the game. Haven't even figured out where to watch the game, other than watching at the hotel room, which I don't want to do.
Even after the game, we have some dinner party to go to at his in-laws. Hard to focus on the game when we're trying to plan everything at the same time driving all over the place in a area I've never been to before other than just the airport.
