You don't have to nominate a spartiate for banning, that is a moderator decision. Only the banning of a member of the Gerousia must be voted on.

One of the rule is not creating multiple user accounts to troll with and that is what you have been doing. Ruckus, Ruckus 2, Ruckus Friend or whatever....Just because you can't keep your accounts and passwords straight you seem to think it is our problem here. Nope.

He's spartan dogs who asked to be banned anyway. He even admitted as much when he said he was the first poster to be banned from here. Ruckus was never banned. It is just his story to try to cover his ass.

This is where our charter has a huge hole. We can, as Gerontes, call for the banning of another Geronte on a whim. But a Spartiate has to acutally violate a TOS before they are even eligible for a ban.

I don't agree with that rule either. But since you brought it up:

Bans shall be proposed in the public forum and require a second and a third (with both endorsements also being by member of the Gerousia) accompanied by a reason for the proposed ban.

"we don't like your posts" is not a reason IMO.

Disagree.  Just because you CALL for the banning of a Geronte doesn't mean they'll be banned.  It has to be voted upon.  MUCH more difficult.   non-Gerousia can be banned by one person at any time.  Heat and I are just saying that Ruckus has not done anything that warrants a ban.  That doesn't necessarily mean he won't be banned.  If a moderator banned him anyway, what could we really do?  We're not technically moderators, as we haven't been voted into that role.  We would have to wait until that moderator's term has expired and then campaign to see that he/she doesn't get voted in again.

That said, Heat and I have a little "extra" leeway at the moment because we are trying to set the personality of the board AND we have tools that are only available to certain members of the Ephorate.

Anonymous posting has been enabled temporarily while everyone makes their way over. It has been useful for sorting out registration problems and other issues. It will be turned off once we feel there is no further reason to leave it enabled.

1. I don't have any proof of that...yet.
2. If/when proof is found, according to the forum rules (please read them), the SD265 (the shtick) account could be banned, deactivated, deleted, or left alone. There are at least 2 known shticks here that are currently being allowed to exist (subject to continuous review).

Actually, there are at least 3, as Snow Miser is mine...but I use that one for testing purposes when I want to see the board the way the commoners see it.

I didn't start a thread on tRCMB. I was reading a thread here. Heat miser mentioned he banned someone. I went to respond, couldn't. Tried to log back in, couldn't. Made a comment on tBB, gomer overreacted. The rest is history.

OK, so explain exactly how you forget both the email you used, and password you used when you set your account up just two weeks ago.

I'm guessing the truth is, you setup your account to troll and so used a burner email account and password. If your first inclination was to troll this place, how many other trolling attempts have you made?
