When Snowden gave away things that the NSA had done with regards to spying on the American people he wasn't a traitor to our country. When he decided to give away secrets with regards to spying on other countries, he became a traitor. It isn't that complicated really.

Because at least one person that I've heard of tried to go through the correct channels, and Snowden himself tried to go through the correct channels. One is in prison, the other is in Russia. The NSA and the US aren't concerned about doing the 'right' thing, they are concerned about protecting themselves and their power.

he's a weasel.. like I said, if he's proud of what he did and thinks it was the right thing to do, come to the US tell us why. Otherwise, he isn't a lot different than the militants who are so committed to their acts that they wear masks so nobody will know their identity.
