Wish I was confident tonight, we just don't do that well tied up late in the game.

That's a Dave Clark fuck up as much as it is an Ausmus fuck up. Even more. Why would you make the first out at home with the top of the order coming up?

I have no idea, that was just bad. If he held up they'd be up by two runs now.

Brads gotta have some balls this inning. If price is struggling he's gotta man up and give him the hook.

Great inning by price. Who'd they have warming up? Krol and hardy? They showed it briefly.

Great win and hoping they can pull off 3 wins this series. Tigers are 1.5 games behind the Twins and I think .5 game behind the wild card spot.

Let's see what JV has. I'm so dumb, I've had the game on and not paying any attention to this point. Nice swing and miss for his first K there.

He kind of got away with one on the last pitch of the inning. Hung a breaking ball but Hicks didn't get enough of it.

VMart baby!
Verlander has looked good so far. Brad should pull him as soon as he starts to come undone.

Re: tOfficial 2015 Detroit Tigers thread
I read in an article the other day that Kinsler has been picked off of first FIVE times this year. I know Pantry mentioned 3 he could remember. lol @ being picked off five times.
Rangers fans were kind of sick of his act. He's a good ball player and you could do a lot worse at 2nd base but he has some serious brain farts.

The 3 included last Saturday and not the one a couple days ago. Would love the link to 5 pick offs because it's something we've been discussing on another Detroit sports board.

Not sure to be honest. It used to be the top x HR leaders in each league. Remember when Inge made it?
Going back even further, remember when Damion Easley made it?

You know what though, if they want the most exciting players they should have picked Cespedes, even if he wasn't selected to the team. I don't think that's a criteria anymore. Dude has won it 2 of the past 5 years.

I tried googling to figure out how participants qualify. I think they picked them out of the first batch that qualify as all stars.
Inge made it? Holy shit. I don't keep up with the allstar game that well.

Not only did he make it...he made history. The only derby participant to not hit even one.steveschneider wrote:

He was invited as a shout out to the tigers IIRC, that was the convention to have a home town representative and Pudge wasn't interested. I think shortly after that we acquired magglio ordonez.
Bobby Abreu set the HR derby record for dingers that night with 41. Went on to have a shitty remainder of his career

lol!!! The last time I watched the all star game was when it was at citi field with Leyland managing. Prior to that I have to back a ways to cal ripkens last all star game. I just don't have any interest in it most of the time.
Best moment I've seen in the all star game? When tommy lasorda got knocked over.

Re: tOfficial 2015 Detroit Tigers thread
Not calling you out Ass, but this is not correct. Pudge did participate when it was at Comerica and I believe he made the finals. 185 lb Pudge (at the time) was hitting like 495 ft HRs off the bricks in LCF. It was absurd. This is when we decided the ball was juiced.Ass Dan wrote:The Pantry wrote:

Inge I think was in it a few years later.
