He clearly made the right choice for him but it would have been great to see him spend more time in the Green and White. That defense was impressive (Liles, Fast, Hutchinson and Keith).

It still amazes me with those teams in the late 90's and early 00's we didn't win a national championship or two, so much talent.

At least not when it mattered in the tournament, serious talent at both ends of the ice including in net.

Hollis listened to Ron Mason and took a flyer on Anastos. It hasn't been a change that's improved the win / loss record although Anastos has been there pushing for upgraded training equipment. It's too bad but Anastos hasn't shown an ability to recruit and develop hockey talent,

MSU was up 1-0 from early in the 1st until 9:00 left n the 3rd when NMU tied it up. NMU wins in OT 2-1. Once again MSU played 85% of the 3rd and OT in their own end.

Too early to move Anastos to a marketing position in the AD's office and let Kelly Miller coach the rest of the 15-16 season?

I started going to MSU games when Amo was still coaching. You knew it was time when he started calling line changes with names of players who had graduated 3-4 years prior.

Mason came over from BGSU and it was a new day. I was a season ticket holder from Mason's 2nd season through the 2nd of the last season for Comely.

MSU hockey has reached nadir. Its too bad but its never been this bad. A good hockey program can at least break even. Its not happening.

You have a point. I should keep my yapper shut. Haven't seen an msu hockey game in 20 years. Perhaps if it was televised or discussed in the papers more I'd care about it. I always liked ron mason hoping they can turn it around somehow.
