I think it's weird that SCum worshippers believe everyone wants to go there yet they feel like the need to resort to this undignified and creepy shit to attract a recruit? Regardless of whether the recruit chooses SCum or not, the recruit is still a subordinate and shouldn't ever be afforded a status as a peer until such time as the child becomes an adult and is no longer playing college football.

No matter how long you're alive, you will never be a peer of your parents. Harbaugh is part parent and part coach and shouldn't be doing things that imply to the kid that Harbaugh believes they are peers in this relationship. I guess it implies a level of familiarity between them that isn't justified - at least not in public.
